"Wee-Tah-Kah-Wee-Loo" reimagines classical portraiture through a lens of vibrant, pop inspired energy. Featuring a nostalgic Furby rendered with meticulous technique. The work explores the interplay between the toy’s soft, synthetic fur and the dizzying intensity of a spiral backdrop. The title, translating to "tell me a story" in Furbish, adds a layer of whimsy. By elevating a quirky relic of the 90s into a sophisticated oil study, the painting captures the surreal and slightly hypnotic charm of an object that once begged for our attention.
